Worship at
La Verne Heights Presbyterian Church
At La Verne Heights Presbyterian Church our worship is
Christ-Centered
with Scripture-based preaching
and blended music style
Our regular Sunday Morning Worship begins at 9:00 AM and lasts 75 to 90 minutes
The order of worship includes
Gathering in God's Presence
Hearing God's Word
Responding with Thanks
Going out to Serve
Special music is regularly provided by our Chancel Choir. The Praise Band helps lead singing monthly and our children's choir, the Savior Singers, also sing a few times each year.
Sunday morning services normally include a brief message for the children after which
children ages 3 to fifth grade may leave for their own "Children's Worship" program. Children are also welcome to remain in the service with their families.
Our Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible, has a hearing aid loop, and assistive listening devices are available for the hearing impaired.
The sacrament of the Lord's Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of every month.
Also on every first Sunday of the month is a Service of Healing and Wholeness at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Children are always welcome in our worship services and there is also nursery and toddler care available Sunday Mornings. Child care for younger children will be provided for special services if you request it from the church office.
There are special worship services, usually in the evening, such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Christmas Eve.
Service opportunities are open for our choir and praise band, ushers, and technical crew.
Audio of many of the messages preached on Sunday Morning are available on our Audio Page including our podcast information.
